Adelayo Fawole (Layo) is the founder of Layo Fawole Law (LFL) PLLC. Before founding LFL, Layo cut his teeth at Top law firms in Nigeria and Michigan, USA with practices areas across Immigration law, Tax Law, International Commercial Dispute Resolution, Corporate Finance, Labor and Employment law, Contracts Law, Insurance Defense etc.
At a very young age, Layo decided to be an Attorney and serve as the voice for those who needed a louder voice. This was inspired by his experience with several cases of abuses of human rights and the rule of law by the military junta in Nigeria in the 90s.
Layo dedicated the beginning of his law career to being that louder voice, before briefly delving into corporate law practices. However, with a passion to help people who are in situations that he had been, Layo reverted to his first love of “a people-based law practice.” This prompted his decision to establish the Immigration Law Office of Layo Fawole Law. He works hard to assist his clients with their family-based and business-based immigration cases/processes.
Layo earned his first law degrees Magna Cum Laude from Nigeria and a Master of Laws degree from Wayne State University, Detroit MI. He is also a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, and he assists clients in ensuring that they operate within the bounds of the law.
When he is not doing law, Layo enjoys reading, writing, playing soccer, and serving as an event host.
